Keolis Hyderabad is strongly committed towards its Corporate Social Responsibility obligations in India as an inherent part of its corporate philosophy.

Since the group, Keolis SA, is a subsidiary held by 70% by the SNCF (the National French Corporation of Railways), it made sense to gather the efforts in order to provide not only the best solution to fulfill mandatory commitments, but furthermore, to do more than expected for the greater good.

That’s how the solution of building a Public Charitable Trust through SNCF Foundation India came up. The strong background, network and expertise of the SNCF’s Foundation, and the ability for Keolis Hyderabad to identify locally some needs, get in touch and meet NGO’s on a regular basis is the suitable combination to help those in need.

Launch of SNCF Foundation India 

On January 5, 2019, SNCF Foundation India had been officially launched at AGAPE Premises by Mr. Guillaume Pepy, Chairman of SNCF Executive Board and CEO of SNCF Mobilités, with Mr. François Gautier, Consul General of France in Bangalore, as the Chief Guest.

As the first donation from the organization, medicines for a total value of ₹ 32,313/- were handed over by our MD Mr. Eric Moinier, along with our distinguished guests, to Mrs. Lynne Voggu, Founder and Managing Director of AGAPE.

Indeed, this Public Charitable Trust is unique, as it is the first to be implemented within an SNCF’s subsidiary such as Keolis .
