1 AMANVEDIKA GIRLS – MAKING LIVES GOOD
A registered, Non Profit Service Society working with an aim to build a peaceful, just and humane society in collaboration with government and civil society organizations with a focus on welfare and protection of children, women and shelter-less people.
Initiative by Keolis Hyderabad: Aman Vedika, part of Rainbow homes, is one of the oldest NGO we are partnering with. Their mission is to assist children to receive better education and give shelter to orphans. To help them better and serve their daily needs, Keolis has spent an amount of Rs. 5,45,500 towards donation of the educational supplies and groceries and for renovation of their stay home (Civil Works
2 AMANVEDIKA BOYS HOME
Aman Vedika Sneh Ghar for Boys function on the open, voluntary, non-custodial, long-term
residential hostel approach to child care and protection – where children are not locked up
and there is a plan for the child’s overall development including healthcare, life skills and
personality development. They excel in education and sports in the open competitions. They
participated and won at district level in sports and cultural activities.
Initiative by Keolis Hyderabad: Keolis has donated medical supplies like first aids,
thermometers, BP machine and study Supplies for the overall development of the Boys of
Sneh ghar.
3 AGAPE (Ambassadors of Goodwill for AIDS Patients Everywhere )
AGAPE is registered society having reg. no. 759 of 2003. The core activity is children’s
homes located at Uppal-Hyd. Children admitted to AGAPE are from families where one or
more parents are suffering with HIV/AIDS and don’t have any means of support or whose
parents have already died of HIV/AIDS. AGAPE takes all children regardless of caste, creed
and religion.
Initiative by Keolis Hyderabad: To help NGO more, the goal is to identify areas where we
can help, specific skills like accounting, maintenance and building facilities optimization,
project design and management, legal advice and communication etc. With this intent,
Keolis has a made a CSR Contribution of Rs. 1,01,500 & have donated the file cabinets and
study supplies and other basic needs.
4 PAWMENCAP – Parents Association for the Welfare of Mentally Handicapped
Persons
PAWMENCAP was established in 1990 the goal is to support and help raise children who
are mentally challenged in an ambience filled with love and happiness.
PAWMENCAP trains children and adults of varying degrees of mental retardation.
PAWMENCAP started with eight children now caters to the care of 285 children. Out of the
185 students trained at the school in the last two years, 60% belong to families that are
below the poverty line. It has been able to convince and enroll families that earlier never
understood the importance of educating a mentally disabled child. The only centre to admit
and train children and adults of varying degrees of mental retardation.
Initiative by Keolis Hyderabad: Keolis has made a Donation of Rs. 3,22,800 & also plans
various visits to the PAWMENCAP. The visit are an opportunity to spend some time with
kids over an excellent lunch prepared by the NGO staff, and listen to NGO’s concerns and
needs.
5 AASHRAY AKRUTHI – BREAK THE WALLS OF SILENCE
Ashray Akruti is a non-Profit Organisation that is working for People with disabilities in
Education, Health and Skill Development since 25 years, having its Vision of Empowering
people with disabilities and people from underprivileged background through quality
education, health care and sustainable livelihoods & Mission to to create institutional, noninstitutional and community based interventions for the people to help them become
independent self-reliant and contributing citizens of the country.
Initiative by Keolis Hyderabad: Keolis has made a significant donation towards 15
hearing aids for the physically challenged (Deaf) children.
Concurrently, we also arrange fun metro rides for the kids of Aashray Akruthi
