Fare Collection Accountant

Role Title Fare Collection Accountant
Experience & Qualification
  • The candidate should be graduate in computer science or commerce.
  • The candidate should possess at least 3 – 8 yrs of experience working in Hypermarkets or in any transport industry sector. Experience in toll gate systems handing fare collection management will be preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Fare Collection Accountant is responsible for the efficient daily operation of the fare collection, as such he:
  • Ensures the operational, collection and financial procedures are carried out as per set procedures and rules in accordance with the statutory framework on his area of responsibility (stretch, corridor…)
  • Reconciles the amount of cash inflows given by AFC with the actual cash inflows given by the bank, and deals appropriately with the discrepancies if any
  • Ensures the completeness of sales (e.g. by checking all Ticket Vending Machines are reporting sales correctly) on his area of responsibility
  • Participates in new projects related to fare collection or fines recovery, if required
  • Supports the roll-out of new payment schemes, in collaboration with LTMRHL and other departments of KHMRTS
  • Proposes functional enhancements to applied processes (for example workflow modifications)
  • Prepare statistics of sales and cash inflows by product.
  • Contributes to the preparation of the fare collection reporting to LTMRHL
  • Participates in audits of the ticketing and cash collection procedures, including on site audits, upon requirement from his hierarchy

Deputy Manager – Stations

Role Title Deputy Manager – Stations
Experience & Qualification
  • Should be Graduate in any stream (Preferably Engineering)
  • Candidate having 10 years or more experience and supervisory work experience of at least 3 years shall be preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • The Deputy Manager is responsible for the management of stations on the nominated corridor or as instructed by Stations Manager. Deputy Manager Station is in charge of all Stations of assigned corridor and Station staff reported under him.

Fault Management Controller

Role Title Fault Management Controller

  • Should be a qualified Diploma / Graduate Engineer – Mechanical / Electrical /Electronics.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Fault management controller is responsible for coordination between OCC and Maintenance team ensuring smooth movement of commercial service.
  • As such, is in charge of:
  • The day-to-day organization of resources for rectification of faults in the entire network of metro rail way systems:
  • He will be responsible to assist Traffic Controller /station Controller/ Building and fault Controller/Traction power Controller/Depot Controller from Operation Control Centre (remote diagnostic) for real-time failure redressal/rectification during revenue hours.
  • FMC will guide the steps of trouble shooting to be followed by the maintenance personal to resolve the issue, and steps of trouble shooting will be recorded by the FMC.
  • FMC will also maintain and refer history of failure.
  • FMC will be responsible for coordination of testing of trains during non-revenue service.
  • He should coordinate with on duty planning officer and update the status FMS which are not resolved for further planning
  • Report the persisting faults to the management of Operation & maintenance
  • FMC will hold the roster of all the maintainers dept. who are at different location and update if any changes requests
  • FMC should intimate to on duty CC regarding the fit/Unfit status of equipment’s/trains. Before start of revenue services
