1.Signalling Team Leader

Role Title Team Leader Signalling
Experience & Qualification
  • At least 4 to 8 years’ experience as a Diploma and B.tech engineer in respective SIG/COM/AFC
    maintenance.
  • Should be a qualified Diploma/Graduate Engineer – Electronics/Electrical/Communication.
Roles & Responsibilities Team leader is responsible for THE delivery of the respective system-SIG/ COM/ AFC in an operational
state, able to ensure commercial service.As such, is in charge of:

  • The day-to-day organization of the maintenance tasks during his shifts:
  • Ensuring preventive maintenance as per laid down guidelines and schedules of
  • maintenance.
  • Organization of a permanent, immediate, and efficient response in case of a major event
  • due to the respective SIG/COM/AFC System.
  • Maintenance works compliance:
  • Adherence to maintenance standards
  • Monitors staff skills and safety procedures respect.
  • Ensuring availability of as built drawings and technical documents.
  • Coordinating with the station/Depot/OCC operation staff with regard to maintenance of
    SIG/COM/AFC assets.
  • Organization of collection of technical facts aiming to raise issues to the engineering team
    and
  • or the SIG/COM/AFC supplier (during the DLP).
  • Organization of collection of needed resources assessments aiming budget construction.
  • Support processes procedures respect.
  • Guiding his staff in regard to knowledge enhancement through classroom and on job training
    as per requirement.
  • Key personnel in information transmittal process.
Key Skills
  • Fresh Graduate Engineer in relevant engineering would also be considered.
  • Experience in managing and developing teams.
  • Able to plan and organise work of self and others.
  • Competent verbal and written communicator.

2.Rolling Stock Team Leader

Role Title Team Leader Rolling Stock
Experience & Qualification
  • Should be a qualified Diploma / Graduate Engineer – Mechanical / Electrical /Electronics.
  • At least 4-8 years’ experience as a Degree/Diploma engineer in the field of
    Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance. Knowledge of working in a technically – based rail/metro or industrial environment.
Roles & Responsibilities Rolling Stock Team leader is responsible for the maintenance of rolling stock in an
operational state, able to ensure commercial service.
As such, is in charge of:The day-to-day organization of the maintenance tasks during his shifts:

  • Ensuring preventive maintenance of rolling stock and depot equipment as
  • per laid down guidelines and schedules of maintenance.
  • Organization of a permanent, immediate, and efficient response in case of a
  • major event due to the respective Rolling stock system.
    • Mechanical /Electrical & Electronics functions servicing
    • Wheel machining of rolling stock and depot equipment if any
    • Involving in Re railing activities.
    • Major components exchange
    • According to planning requirements and its evolutions due to the operational needs:
  • Allocating the workload through the various teams
  • Arbitrating if necessary
  • Maintenance works compliance:
  • Adherence to maintenance standards
  • Monitors staff skills and safety procedures respect.
  • Ensuring availability of as built drawings and technical documents.
  • Coordinating with rolling stock manager with regard to maintenance of
  • Rolling stock assets.
  • Organization of collection of technical facts aiming to raise issues to the engineering team
  • and or the Rolling stock supplier (during the DLP).
  • Organization of collection of needed resources assessments aiming budget construction.
  • Support processes procedures respect.
  • Guiding his staff in regard to knowledge enhancement through classroom and on job training

3.Rolling Stock Engineer

Role Title Engineer Rolling Stock
Experience & Qualification
  • Knowledge on MS Office Tools for preparing the reports (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point, AutoCAD).
  • Should have good Communication Skills for both verbal and written.
  • B. Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering
  • Should have knowledge on Computer Applications
  • 1-2 Years’ Experience in RAMS
Roles & Responsibilities Should have basic knowledge of EHS

  • Planning & Creation of regular PMs & CM activities as per MMS in AMS and vendors inspections
  • Creation/Closing of Service Request & Work Orders using Maximo (AMS) with updates
  • Preparation of KPI & RAMS calculation in respect of RST systems and Vendors.
  • Preparation of RST Systems service failure analysis reports.
  • Updating the RST Systems snag list by taking inputs from TLs.
  • Ensuring availability of as built drawings and technical documents, records & check lists.
  • Preparation of daily reports in respect of RST systems
  • Coordinating with TL & Planning team for updating failure reports.
  • Responsible for Documentation Audits (internal/external) and preparation of audit compliance reports.

4.AFC/COM Maintainer

Role Title AFC/COM Maintainer
Experience & Qualification
  • Should be a qualified ITI/ Diploma Engineer – Electronics/ Electrical/
    Communication/ Mechanical.
  • At least 3 years’ experience as an ITI holder in respective SIG/COM/AFC maintenance wing
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Maintainer in each department like AFC and COM is responsible for:
  • The day-to-day organization of the maintenance tasks during his shifts:
  • Ensuring preventive maintenance as per laid down guidelines and
    schedules of maintenance.
  • Organization of a permanent, immediate and efficient response in case
    of a major event due to the respective AFC/COM System.
    • Maintenance works compliance:
    • Adherence to maintenance standards
    • Ensuring safety & procedures respect
    • Ensuring upkeep of tools, assets and records
    • Coordinating with the Team Leader about maintenance of AFC/COM assets.

5.Train Operator

Role Title Train Operator
Experience & Qualification
  • Technical Diploma / B.Tech (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics)
Roles & Responsibilities
  • To ensure the Safe, Smooth, Scheduled and Energy Efficient Operation of the trains as per regulations.
  • To drive train in mainline and depot as per assigned duty.
  • To observe high level of alertness and vigilance during train operation and respond to the abnormalities promptly; keeping Operation Control Centre (OCC) informed.
  • To be proactive in ensuring safety of the train, on board passenger, oneself and those working near the right of way.
  • To proactively participate in training & refresher courses; be versed in the troubleshooting of the train on board systems, Standard Operating Procedures; practical handling of train and acquire the expected level of competence.
  • To promptly respond to the malfunctions in train, ensure their efficient management and clear the blockage on the mainline within least possible time.
  • To lead and manage the relief and restoration as per procedures, under OCC instruction, after any incident encountered duty his duty.
  • To disseminate correct & relevant information to the passenger whenever required in handling incidents.
  • To be proactive in ensuring punctuality of train and oneself.
  • To be clear and unambiguous during communication.
  • To drive train in any shift, any time during his shift and for extended hours during exigencies.
  • To be in charge of the train when handed over the charge of same; and will not leave the same without proper handing over to reliever.
  • Be available for providing training; provide OJT to new recruits, verify their competence and recommend their suitability.
  • Observing all the rules & regulations of the organisation.

6.Storage Officer

Role Title Officer Storage
Experience & Qualification
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a Stores officer in an industrial
    environment with a significant experience in methods and on site
    exposure
  • Should be qualified Diploma in Mechanical or electrical or Industrial Engineering
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Planning of different warehouses with the help of Supply Chain &
    Methods Manager
  • Earmark areas in stores for different Material.
  • Receive Material
  • Store material
  • Check according to specifications.
  • Enter details into Maximo system.
  • To undertake the day-to-day supervision of the stores service and staff
    under him to deliver a customer focused service in accordance with
    agreed procedures.
  • Ensure the integrity of the stores area is maintained at all times.
  • To ensure accurate accountability of all transactions to and from the stores
  • Compile information on receipt or disbursement of goods and/or inventory
  • Proper Inventory control, Replenishment of stock, follow up with Purchase Section/Suppliers and timely action for Receipts/Quality Control and Issue of Stores to User Departments.
  • To facilitate periodic checks/ Annual Stock-taking, of the quantities of materials held in stock, Annual Assets Verification/Condemnation and Disposal of salvages etc.
  • Manage the use of all depots and hand tools servicing, repair and maintaining inventory, and replenishment accountability.
  • Ensure the stores area is kept clean and tidy and free from hazards.
  • Timely collection of materials from Suppliers/Transporters/Rail/Air/Sea. Send Material for repair if any.
  • Collect all the material for disposal and after proper approvals dispatch the material as per the SOP.
  • Take part in coordination while different audits like Environmental and safety audits.
  • Proper Documentation and Record Maintenance, Preservation, Transit Insurance of claims.
Key Skills
  • Working on an ERP platform like SAP MM or Maximo is desirable. (Proficient typing and general computer skills)

7.Tracks Maintainer

Role Title Maintainer Tracks
Experience & Qualification
  • At least 5+ / 2+ years’ experience as an ITI holder / Diploma holder in the field of Civil / Mechanical for Tracks Maintenance / Electrical (for special case e.g., RGM operator etc.). Knowledge of working in a technically based rail / metro or industrial environment is preferred.
  • Should be a qualified ITI / Diploma /Engineer – Civil / Mechanical / Electrical (for special case e.g., RGM operator etc.)
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Tracks – Maintainer is responsible for the maintenance of tracks in an operational state, able to ensure commercial service.
    As such, he is in charge of:
  • Day-to-day organizing of materials from stores and performing the maintenance task during his shifts
  • Ensuring preventive maintenance and regular servicing of track assets as per laid down guidelines and schedule of maintenance.
  • Responsible for immediate and efficient handling in case of any major event that affects train Operation (for example: Rail / weld failure or any other incident which affects the train operation).
  • Maintenance works snag attention and subsequent compliance and maintain the records as per the directions of the TLs.
  • Adherence to maintenance standards and SOPs
  • Knowledge on safe working procedure of track maintenance, Operation and maintenance of motor trolleys, and Manual point operation in depot.
  • Knowledge & periodical maintenance of Permanent way tools and machinery (identification of tools for various track maintenance activities). Coordinating with the station/ Depot/OCC Operation staff with regard to maintenance of Track assets as well as during performance of the Corrective maintenance activities.
  • Organization of collection of technical facts aiming to raise issues to the engineering team and /or the Track Work supplier (during the DLP).
  • Organization of collection of needed resources assessments aiming budget construction.
  • Support and Major involvement in all track maintenance activities.
  • Key personnel in information transmittal process.
Key Skills
  • High level Fresh Diploma / Engineer in relevant engineering would also be considered.
  • Should be able to effectively communicate in English.
  • Analytical ability.

8.Tracks Team Leader

  • At least 3 years of Post qualification experience as a BE/BTech or 5 Years of experience as Diploma engineer in the field of Track maintenance.
  • High level Fresh Graduate Engineer in relevant engineering would also be considered as Track engineer.
  • Should be a qualified Diploma/Graduate Engineer – Civil/ Mechanical.

  • Should be qualified ITI or Diploma in any technical Study
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Earmark areas in stores for different Material.

  • Coordinate with Team Leaders and know the requirements.

  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and organized working environment within the rolling stock stores area. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement appropriate safety measures.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an organized and accurate inventory of tools and consumable items, such as lubricants, chemicals, cleaning supplies, and other materials.
  • Storage and Organization: Develop and implement storage systems and procedures to efficiently store tools and consumables. Ensure that items are properly labelled, categorized, and stored in appropriate locations to facilitate easy retrieval and inventory management.
  • Distribution and Tracking: Coordinate the distribution of tools and consumables to the relevant departments or individuals within the organization. Maintain a system to track the allocation of items, monitor usage, and ensure timely returns or replacements.
  • Maintenance and Calibration: Coordinate maintenance, calibration, and repair activities for tools and equipment. Establish a schedule for routine inspections, servicing, and calibration to ensure tools are in good working condition.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality control measures for consumable items to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Conduct inspections, monitor expiration dates, and ensure that only approved and safe items are stored and distributed.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including procurement, maintenance, and operation. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing timely information, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues related to tool and consumable storage.
